Short Update

An update finally. I hate to disappoint but no, I didn’t drop off the face of earth. I’ve been doing a little soul searching *cough internet down cough*. Also, I’ve noticed a lot more traffic to my blog lately, I guess the secret is out.

I haven’t really been inspired to write lately but as someone who seeks an occupation as a writer, the lack of inspiration to execute word graffiti shouldn’t even have transpired in the first place. Furthermore, with my Internet down, it made it easier for me to slack. After all, it’s the holiday season.

So what have I been up to? Christmas came and gone. I was born a Roman Catholic but the year of my parents’ divorce faltered my faith. Even now, I am yet to be brave enough to acknowledge God. Years down the road, I became a free thinker. This year though, I went with The Boyfriend to spend my Christmas morning in church. It was an enlightening experience, yet strangely familiar. For a minute, I was six years old again with my parents on either side of my brother and me in St Joseph church. Maybe… just maybe…

Anyway, I’ve been spending an awful lot of time with The Boyfriend. He’s leaving in a couple of days but ironically, the fear I used to have is fading away. We’ve spent many nights talking it through and we’ve both accepted it’s going to be hard. I don’t really have words to describe my feelings at this moment but this cold acceptance saves me at this rate.

I’ll be back blogging more regularly in a couple more weeks. Right now though, I only have time for him because this is just about the only time I’ll get… for the next four years.
