May Pictures Update
No, I did not die.
Betcha thought otherwise of the blog. So yeah, I have been taking a little blog vacation but I’ve been having a little bit of a family problem and I just didn’t have the mood to write anything other than rushing assignments.
Gonna update you all on what’s been happening to me! The highlight of my month is probably the return of my boyfriend! Wait, that was last month and I did blogged about it. Yeap, the sexy time story. Well, the police office costume has been hanging on its rack since that playful day because yours truly don’t need no costume to get her groove on. Haha! I’ve been so lame you won’t believe!
I would love to tell you stories but they’re mostly racist and inside jokes. Only my friends will forgive my racist humour. And also because, I’m horrible at reenacting funny moments!
Jokes just ain’t funny coming from me :(
So after the short Miss Balcony stint, I went off my diet and began to eat more. I’m now standing at four feet nine with too much fat on me because I’ve decided food is indeed glorious and I’ll eat whatever I like, anyhow I like, whenever I like. Now I suffer the consequence of not being able to wear some of my favourite tops and get away with it without looking thrashy.
But weight aside, I’m quite the happy-go-lucky.
NOT!
… that’s a Borat joke! Did you get it? I hope you got it!
*hums*
Oh! Oh! Oh! Who still remember my 2007 resolutions?
Well, I’ve been quite the Ms. Resolution! I’m still refraining quite well from cigarettes and alcohol, so I guess I’ve been quite successful with that promise.
I’ve managed to keep close to Tingang’s family even after he left for Australia. Even though Tingang is now back, I’m very grateful to find out I wasn’t hanging on to his family for lifejacket support but because I am genuinely touched by their love and concern for me as Tingang’s girlfriend, Kedung’s and Balan’s friend.
As for my studies, I am a bit caught off guard by how unwell I handled my family problems and my own laziness, so besides a few brilliant marks on some of my assignments, I still need to work harder on realising this resolution.
As for loving myself more, I have a confession to make. I relapsed twice. I have no excuses.
Now that Tingang is back, I don’t see the need to save up for Brisbane for Christmas so that resolution is cancelled.
Friends resolution was a bit harder earlier last month because I had a fight with one of my loveliest best friend. She’s always been a wonderful person and I know we have our share of differences in priorities. I’m just glad the silent war is over and we’re back to being friends. I love you, woman.
I’m still working with my relationship with Christ. Ironically, ever since The Boyfriend is back, I’ve been disconnected from Him and I’ve been searching for the reasons behind His testings. So much so that I forgot to put my trust in Him and just let Him lead the way. With my dad’s bankruptcy and my mum’s obstinacy, I’ve been a wreck this past few weeks and with each prayer that The Boyfriend and I made, I felt more hopeless. This has made every tomorrow very bleak for me. I just have to keep on telling myself that God has bigger plans for me, that I must put absolute faith in Him.
That I must. I must. I must…
As for the relationship with The Boyfriend, despite everything that’s been going on, I’ve never been so much happier in a relationship than I have with him. So the long distance did work, even though it went from four years to just a mere five months. For that, I’ve been very grateful. I love him so much.
Anyway, with all that aside, I’ll now let my pictures for the month tell you the stories, okay?
What! Pumping fuel can be quite interesting at times… very story moment what…
It felt so so so good against you in the water…
I think we were trying for the couple photoshoot award :)
Sexy time with the Japanese!
I know Easter was a long time ago but I just can’t help NOT putting this up! This was the cast for the church’s play for Good Friday and Easter. Guess who was in charge of the costumes and make up? With a lot of help from Kedung and the casts, I was able to put together these somewhat realistic-looking tribe costumes.
We had a documentary production about a day out fishing at the Marina Park. This time round, I was the cameraperson. That girl in the picture is Dian and she’s the editor!
The whole documentary was in Bahasa Sarawak so I had a really amusing time trying to figure out just what the heck was going on in their conversation.
Chris’ cousin, Gerald came down from Kuching with his girlfriend, Musha. Went to Balcony for some drinks and guess what? Just like every other night in Balcony, there was a fight!
… quite tired already me of this clubbing and fighting scene. Time to grow up.
But right after the Miss Balcony finals tomorrow! I wanna see! I wanna see!
By the way, last pictures in the batch are especially large because I don’t know how to fix the HTML anymore. It just wouldn’t work after the Japanese picture!
Okay! That’s a long enough entry to make you all slightly happy! Over and out!
